Congratulations to Southern University Laboratory School Varsity Cheerleaders!
We are thrilled to share the exciting news that the Varsity Cheerleaders Competition Team from Southern University Laboratory School has clinched 1st place in the 2024-2025 National Cheerleading Association Virtual Regionals! This prestigious competition, held this past December, showcased the hard work, talent, and dedication of our amazing cheerleaders.
This remarkable victory is not just a reflection of their exceptional skills; it embodies their unwavering commitment to school spirit, teamwork, and tireless effort. Every practice, every routine, and every cheer has led them to this significant achievement, demonstrating their love for cheerleading and pride in representing Southern University Laboratory School.
With this accomplishment under their belts, the cheerleaders are now gearing up to compete on an even larger stage. They will represent our school at the NCA Nationals, set to take place in Dallas, Texas, from January 24-26, 2025. This upcoming competition is a testament to their dedication and resilience, as they aim to showcase their talents among the best in the nation.

Head Coach Da'Quwan Mark and Assistant Coach/Sponsor Britt Dawson have been instrumental in guiding and inspiring this talented team.
